We are people of all ages and abilities who come together each week to learn about other cultures, teach and share dances, and practice what we’ve learned. Salem International Folk Dancers (SIFD) has been active in the central Willamette Valley of Oregon for over 75 years. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit that serves the community by teaching World Dance classes and workshops, and performing culturally dance demonstrations around the area.

We are a non-religious, non-political organization that believes that true understanding and peace is acquired through respectful exploration of the various cultures and peoples of the world. And there is no more fun way to do this than through experiencing their music and dance.

Beginners very welcome. No partner needed.
